Old German Picture Frame

I wonder what picture was in this old metal frame when it wasn’t so worn and still had its shine? Was it the wife wearing her Sunday best or departed family member? I am sure a woman was loving placed there because of the floral accent at the top.

The word “Handy” is on the back, no luck finding out if that was the maker or not.

The easel stand is stamped Ges. Gesch which is short for Gesetzlich Geschutzt. (German for legally patented or registered.)

I must find the perfect picture to sit there now. When I find it I will be sure to let you have a look.
